Also, if you believe the chatter, MAF's injury is not as bad as listed. He's time off is just a precautionary maneuver by the training staff to keep him healthy for the long haul.

I enjoy having someone talk hockey on the radio, but he makes so much BS up it isn't even funny. Then if he reads someone saying that they want this guy to be traded for this guy, he says he has sources saying the two teams are talking. He's so full of shit.

I missed Madden when he was off the air because listening to Joe Bendel talk hockey is like listening to me talk about quantum physics. And Madden was S-O-L-I-D, solid for a while, but I do agree...he's been spouting some stuff lately that make me wonder how much of it is BS for ratings or what.
If Fleury is out for that long, I'm not worried about it because 1) there's nothing anyone can do about it anyway and 2) Sabourin has been very, very good. And that's something I never thought I'd hear myself say as I've never been a big fan of Sabourin (actually, let me rephrase that...I've never been a big fan of all the asshats over at LGP who used to insist three years ago that Sabourin was a better prospect as a franchise goaltender than Fleury. I was probably unfairly critical of Sabu because of those people).
One thing about Madden that drives me nuts is the way he goes on his kick about how Shero and ownership MUST kowtow to Crosby and get him an elite winger, depth be damned. He almost makes it sound like Sid is holding the winger thing over the organization's head and that he might ultimately use it as justification to go elsewhere when he's approaching UFA status.

@Jack - Shero wasn't interested in signing him for as much as he was being told he was worth.
@Jack-from what I read at the time, Malone got all pissed at Shero's initial offer and said something like he obviously wasn't interested in signing him.

One thing I have always hated about Pens fans is the booing of every player that used to play here and no longer does.
The only one who was a bitch about it and MAYBE deserved it for a season was Jagr.
